EXPLORATION of training, performing and teaching has led me to instruct and choreograph with an approach of connectivity and purposeful direction.

My work has blessed me with countless opportunities to connect with brilliant artists. For over twenty-five years, I have worked in the realm of concert dance. Prior to my move to San Diego, I performed in the Bay Area with ODC/San Francisco Dance Company, taught at Mills College and community training facilities such as Berkeley Ballet and Shawl-Anderson Dance Center.

In addition to ODC/San Francisco, my performing credits include Wylliams / Henry Contemporary Dance Company (Kansas City), Dance Esaias (Miami), Na-Ni Chen Dance Company (NYC), East/West Repertory Ensemble (NYC), New World Dance Company (Washington D.C.), Soundance Dance Company (NYC), Malashock Dance Company (San Diego), The San Diego Opera's "Nixon In China" (as principal dancer) choreographed by Sean Curran, The Broadway production and first national touring company of "The King and I" (as principal dancer, "Eliza") choreographed by Lar Lubovitch.

Duke Ellington High School of Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., opened my eyes to the world of concert dance. I furthered my studies at the University of Arts in Philadelphia before continuing my performing career. I received my Horton Pedagogy Certification from the Alvin Ailey School in NYC and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Mary's College of California.

I currently hold the faculty positions at San Diego State University, Lynch Dance Institute and Visionary Dance Theater.

Let's explore together.

Offering private instruction, master classes, workshops and choreographic works.

PRACTICE is essential.

As aspiring professional dancers, our bodies must condition, strengthen and practice movement pertaining to specific disciplines of dance.

My classes are rooted in the Horton technique and emphasize body alignment. articulation, movement exploration, athleticism and phraseology.

Being a dancer is tough work.

Join me in class and you will find a supportive and encouraging environment. My purpose as a teacher is to propel each and every dancer forward in their development.

Expect to dance hard, experience more and discover anew.

The experience of building relationships in CHOREOGRAPHY is what inspires me to create.

Choreography is a shared journey with all involved and the outcome is an ever-growing body of work. Creating dance work is an extension of who I am, therefore I consider my work to be personal and honest. I simply enjoy working, creating and sharing movement with others.

My choreography has been commissioned by LITVAKdance, Wasatch Contemporary Dance Company, San Diego Dance Theater, Trolley Dances of San Diego, The PGK Project, Diversionary Theater, Visionary Dance Theater, School of Creative and Performing Arts, Malashock Dance School, Canyon Crest Academy, San Dieguito Academy and as well as dance institutions for for National Dance Competitions.

Self-produced dance works have been performed at The ODC Theater in San Francisco, 10th Avenue Theater, The Vine Theater, The Abbe Wolfsheimer Studio, The Light Box Theater and Carlsbad Performing Arts Black Box in San Diego.

Let's move and create together. I hope to connect with you.
